Hello, and welcome to the wonderful world of Bleat!
This collaborative blog is a rather serious affair, touching on important cultural issues that affect our daily lives. And by “serious” I mean “not completely serious,” and by “not completely serious” I mean “decidedly UNserious” (were “unserious” a real word).
Like a sheep with more wool than sense, at Bleat! we hope to give you, the reader, valuable insight into matters of pop culture, politics and life, bleating away in some desperate bid for attention. Or maybe because we aim to please. Who can say?
So sit back, relax, and prepare to add a bit of bleating to your life…

I like this collabartive blog.
I have communicated fow a while now with Kathleen through Mindsay. Being canadian i might bot get evrything her but get more than you might think. I listen to Radio National Daily so am learnbinbg a bit. I told K. I would get a new Aussie/Can dictionary were I to have trouble.
UNserious is a word. It could mean you do not take the Un seriously. Therefore you think American.
Then there is UNAmerican which means you take the Un seriously but not the United States.
The postition both Canada and Australias Primie Minbisters find themselves in is UnIntelligble. They try to lead theoir own countries and still want to please uncle sam.

“UNAmerican” is UNAmerican because it’s got the U.N. in it!
