Today — a day some are already calling “the 9/11 of the music world” — the Spice Girls are expected to announce a reunion tour.
Because the world has been desperate for a Spice Girls reunion. DVD sales of Spice World more than established that.
The question, however, is what will happen to Bastard Spice, Scary Spice’s illegitimate daughter to Eddie Murphy? Maybe she can hang-out on the set of her dad’s latest godawful cinematic offering.
(What was I saying about pabulum again?)

I have no idea what you’re talking about. The Spice Girls are at the vanguard of a musical revolution that will change everything you know for the better. They will alter perceptions, open doors, push envelopes, and probably sing “Wannabe”.
The Spice Girls reunion is just a godsend.
The world told them what we want, what we really, really want.
And now we got it.

I’ll say one thing in favour of the Spice Girls: “Wannabe” knocked “Macarena” from its seemingly endless grip on the #1 spot on the Australian singles charts.
I remember thinking how great it was to be rid of “Macarena”; unfortunately, it was a case of the cure being worse than the disease.
